Police seaching for man who robbed Silver Spring bank

Authorities are searching for a Middle Eastern man who robbed a Silver Spring bank.

Around 4:20 p.m. Friday, the man walked into the Bank of America, 2601 University Boulevard, approached a teller and passed a note demanding money, according to Montgomery County police. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, between 20- and 30-years old, 5-feet-6-inches to to 5-feet-8-inches tall with a slim to medium build.  The man was wearing sunglasses, a floppy hat and dark coat.
